HOUSE BILL NO. 262 "An Act exempting the Public Defender                                                                        
Agency and the office of public advocacy from certain provisions of                                                             
the State Procurement Code; and providing for an effective date" was                                                            
read the second time.                                                                                                           
                                                                                                                                
Senator Coghill moved and asked unanimous consent that the bill be                                                              
advanced to third reading and placed on final passage. Without                                                                  
objection, it was so ordered.
